In line with this belief, our Founder and Chairman, Mr. Atif Rahman, has pledged AED 10 million to support the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The campaign aims to establish a AED 1 billion endowment fund dedicated to providing education to underprivileged communities across the world, while honouring the invaluable role of mothers in shaping future generations. Launched during the holy month of Ramadan, the initiative reflects the UAE’s deeply rooted values of generosity, kindness, and sustainable giving.
ORO24’s contribution will be made over a five-year period, reinforcing our long-term commitment to social impact and global education. Through this pledge, we proudly stand alongside leading organisations and individuals who are collectively working to create lasting opportunities for millions worldwide.
Commenting on the initiative, Atif Rahman, Founder and Chairman of ORO24 Developments, shared that supporting education is one of the most powerful ways to drive human development and empower communities. He emphasized that the UAE’s leadership continues to inspire meaningful humanitarian action that reaches the most vulnerable populations across the globe.
For Mr. Rahman, this contribution is also deeply personal. He has often expressed that the values, guidance, and blessings of his mother have played a significant role in his journey. This pledge stands as a tribute not only to his own mother, but to mothers everywhere whose sacrifices shape brighter futures for their children.
The Mothers’ Endowment campaign focuses on reviving the concept of endowments as a sustainable development tool, ensuring continuous support for education and training initiatives. By doing so, it contributes directly to global efforts aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to quality education and social equity.
