As the Director & Partner of Danube Properties, Rahman started the construction vertical of Danube Group in the beginning of 2014. He oversees the entire business operation and remains solely responsible for all decision making. Rahman’s main highlight during a turbulent year was being elected as the Founding Board Member for the United Nations office for Disaster Risk Reduction for the National UAE Board. Rahman has been actively engaged in life-changing initiatives, promoting resilient practices in the entire Middle East region. Danube launched several residential projects over the past 12 months and achieved sales growth despite the pandemic. They sold 97% of Olivz – launched during March 2020 and overall the company’s revenue has increased as they sold 95% of its entire portfolio. Danube is also ramping up activities in terms of delivery. Elz and Lawnz by Danube are progressing well and Miraclz & Bayz have obtained the Building Completion Certificate. Rahman also exclusively revealed to Construction Week that apart from reinforcing the local market share in Dubai, they want to continue diversifying its business through 2021 and 2022. This includes starting property development business in two new countries and addition of a new vertical in Dubai as a forward integration.
